An open letter has been published urging people to become friends of St Mary & St Peters’. The Churchwardens wish to encourage residents, relations and well wishers to contribute with donations or help (whatever your beliefs) to keep this Community Asset, which has served the Parish for so long.
The Friends believe that future generations will never forgive us if this wonderful Grade 1 listed building were to become a ruin.
The Friends would like to hold events in the church and make it more comfortable so that more members of the community can use and enjoy it.
