For information, SCC Highways are planning to carry out drainage investigation works along (C229) Carlton Road and (U2506) Rosemary Lane.
The works are programmed to take place on 12 January 2021, between 8am and 4pm.
The roads will be closed for the duration of the road closure to ensure that they can carry out their works safely.
The works will be carried out in two phases as detailed below.
Phase 1: Carlton Road – from junction with A12 Main Road to junction with Beaumont Cottages
Diversion: A12, B1121 and vice versa.
Phase 2: Rosemary Lane
Diversion: Carlton Road, B1121 and vice versa.
As the roadworks are planned in advance, they schedule extra days to allow for bad weather or other delays beyond their control. If they need to make major changes to their work dates, they will update the information signs on site.
