In another odd ‘going on’, it seems that despite numerous notices advising that the Annual Bonfire and Fireworks display was cancelled and that no materials should be left on the Recreation Ground some kind soul donated a eucalyptus tree, placing it on last years bonfire site.
So, if you have mislaid a eucalyptus tree recently, perhaps you would be so kind to remove it from the Recreation Ground. Unfortunately this once proud specimen is no longer capable of growing further as it has been deliberately cut into pieces.
