In a surprise move EDF Energy are bringing forward more changes to their proposals for Sizewell C. Details will be made available in due course. However, EDF Energy are looking to hold a 30 day Public Consultation on these changes, starting on the 16th November and continuing until shortly before the Christmas period.
Early reports are they intend to demonstrate a reduction in their reliance on HGV movements on the A12, but increase heavy goods train movements and activity via the Beach Landing Facillity [BLF] on Sizewell Beach. It is also said that they propose to increase apprenticeships.
All of this is happening shortly after EDF Energy were able to see the totality of the Relevant Representations made by the public, via the Planning Inspectorate’s website.
